AMD’s Digital Asset Management System (ADAM) will be the single source for AMD marketing assets and collateral. ADAM is a repository and distribution database system that allows users with proper permissions to search/browse and upload/download AMD digital assets.
Marketing product groups will use this tool to group and manage projects of related assets and apply permissions to distribute files to their selected audiences world-wide.
In addition, many assets placed in ADAM by one AMD group can be shared or leveraged by other groups and projects, if appropriate. This reduces the confusion and administrative overhead generated by storing and managing duplicates of the same assets and projects within the same system (and over multiple digital asset systems).
Along with setting up the basic infrastructure, the ADAM Support team will provide consultation, system monitoring and training on user roles and the functionality of the tool (including how to upload and manage your assets).

About Artesia
The ADAM System is based on software called Artesia DAM, licensed for use by AMD from The Open Text Digital Media Group. After a comprehensive search of available Digital Asset Management systems AMD selected the Artesia solution as the engine for ADAM. Artesia also serves as the DAM for companies such as Whirlpool, Chrysler, and Hermann Miller.
At AMD, Artesia is used to drive both a Digital Asset Portal (DAP) and a Digital Asset Manager (DAM). The DAP is used to provide a simple easy way to browse, search, view, and download assets. The DAM provides advanced search, asset upload, and project management features.
ADAM is hosted by IT inside AMD’s network. The system is integrated with our NT Login system to manage AMD employee logins and our external Single Sign-on (SSO) system to manage external logins.
